Solar Getting So Cheap It's "Astonishing"

It increasingly looks like the Solar Age is beginning and our long relationship with fossil fuels may finally be coming to an end.

What's really going to make it happen is money.

A lot of people like the idea of an energy that doesn't create greenhouse gases, acid rain, smog and all the rest -- but the absolutely only thing that will drive large scale change among the public is cost.

If it means more money will stay in their pockets, people will adopt solar on a large scale.

That now seems to be happening. The cost of solar energy is plummeting to rapidly, energy and financial analysts can only on with amazement.

Kill the honeybees than buy our fake industrial sugars

We all have heard plenty of late in the media about the ongoing crisis in the world of bees -- as in millions of them are dying off. They call it colony collapse disorder. Although an exact cause has yet to be pinpointed, all the science points to a combination of toxic farm chemicals being dumped into our environment by Big Ag Chemical, Inc., and Big Corporate Farmer, LLC.

Here in the Red River Valley the honeybee has been "declared dead" in some parts, and many bee keepers have given up and moved their hives west.

This is a deplorable and deadly situation that may have grave consequences for nothing less than all civilization -- but do we have the political, economic and social will to reverse course? See my story here:
